Rick Foehr, MICP, AS, BA—Program Director Mr. Foehr, the founder of EMSTA College, has been a licensed paramedic for over 30 years in San Diego County. He has a lifetime teaching credential in Health Sciences from California Community Colleges and has more than 25 years pre-hospital teaching experience. He is a former firefighter paramedic with the Santee Fire Department and retired from American Medical Response after serving as a middle manager and field paramedic. It is his vision of educating students to be the most competent and compassionate care givers in the field of emergency pre-hospital medicine that has become the guiding principle of EMSTA College.
